A vintage Japanese sword ~1930s
it is signed and stamped with the smith Kao
late Nambakucho period shape.
Very nice and defined hamon line.
There are very fine jihada can be seen.
It has some oxidation marks but not any major problems.
It is presently cased in a kind of shirasaya with twisted leather handle.
When polished it will be a very nice piece or just can be admired as is.
